I am amazed. I have been a SU user since ’06 and it’s crazy to see that it’s actually taken this long to realize the potential of it. I spend as many hours clicking that little button with the logo that does a head fake so you don’t know where you’re going. It’s cute. Also, firefox. And utorrent. =]

SU is a great source of constant traffic even if you do get a rush and it dies down. Caroline Middlebrook offers a Traffic Rush course centered around StumbleUpon. There are, I believe 10 free lessons and more paid for. Worth checking out – http://www.caroline-middlebrook.com/blog/.

True. My presence in Stumbleupon has created a stable and steady quality traffic over one year which has made our site come in Number One listings on front pages of Google searches if somebody searched for our town information like “Rajahmundry Information” . Our website is only one year old and the major sites who have 10 to 12 years web presence left behind and sometimes pages behind us. But Digg failed us !!!

I’ve gotten some good traffic spikes fro SU, too, though it’s been a while. The thing that impresses me is the residual traffic I got from SU (RSS subscriptions went up) and I still get some traffic from those old “Stumbles.”

I started using Firefox this week, just so that I could use the StumbleUpon toolbar. Once I build up my network, I’m going to pull one of my best posts (Maybe Eighth Wonder of the World) and see if it will blow up.

Wow, you have awesome bounce rates. I mean 33% on SU traffic?..

I am no actively using SU mostly because it’s pain to work with it in Opera. Maybe when they polish new in-page toolbar. I do get occasional traffic spikes when someone does initial review on post but spike dies in few hours.
