3 Ways To Write High Quality Content

June 15, 2008

When it comes to having a great blog, there are a few things that come to everybody’s mind first. What are these things? Well if I would have to guess, I would say..

1. Design - “People with great blogs always make sure their blogs look nice and pretty, and everything matches colors,” etc, etc..

2. Monetization - “A great blog, must make tons of money! Monetization makes a site good, after all look at all the money it’s making.”

3. Search engine optimization - “A great site can’t be a great site without a high PageRank.”

Well these seem to be the top things that spring into peoples heads. Well there is one thing they are all forgetting about, that absolutely what makes a site any good period.

What’s that?

Great content. What you write on your site has to be of high quality. This is what makes your site a “great site.” Content is what builds your rep, your rank, and your bank account.

Here are some tips to great content.

Provide quality info that’s of some use to the reader - Don’t just write fillers, give your readers, things they can go out and do right now that works. This is what will make a reader come back again for more of their problems, or unanswered questions.

Write great headlines - Anybody can make a typical headline, it wouldn’t make it any different then the other million posts labeled “make money online.” It is good to keyword in your title, but use this format i.e “Make Money Online - 10 ways to work from home” this is much more effective and more likely to get clicked on

Clearly state what your trying to say - Don’t make it hard for the reader to understand what you’re saying. Be clear and concise, walked them through the whole thing, “hold their hand” if you will.

Use these great tips to writing great content, and watch your site gain readers, that are loyal, and always come back. On top of this, other sites will link to you with out asking, and overtime you will gain much or your incoming links, with little effort on your part.
