Your welcome, I think you are having a problem with your title tags. If I'm not mistaken your referring to the title your site has when it comes up in the search engine results...If you are then you need to optimize your title tags with the title you want to display. To do this I recommend downloading and installing the All in one SEO plugin - You can download, and find out more about it and optimizing your title tags in this post Title tags, Meta Keyword and Description tags Apply this to your site and you will be able to maintain the title you desire to be displayed, when your site comes up in the search engine results.

Thanks for the feedback. I want to get started with blogging and have tried WordPress a couple of times but am having a hard time to get set up correctly. I tried to set up a “Special Days” blog and ended up with the headline “Mother’s Day” and when I wanted to add something about fathers, it went under “Mother’s Day.” So, anyway, I will take your advice and go the the two sites you suggested.

These reviews are very informative. Being extremely new at this, I am finding everything a little overwhelming because there is so much to digest. It’s hard to know what to do first to begin to get noticed. There is so much to learn. Thanks for the insight you provide.

@Wong – I won’t say a complete waste of time. I do agree $500 is a lot of money for a review. However, having your product/blog reviewed puts a great sense of trust in your readers. They see an already established blogger giving you a recomendation, chances are they will take it. This can boost the amount of subscribers on your site and the level of commenting.

ReviewMe prices can be anywhere from $20 to $200, depending on the site your blog/product will be reviewed on. John Chow’s blog is very popular, so I assume he made some kind of deal with ReviewMe (a long with other top bloggers), where they allowed him to charge more because of his popularity. Yet It is unknown the amount of traffic the review will send and it is not guaranteed.

Your right about his alexa ranking going down, but there is no way to be 100% sure that this is the reason why.

I don’t mean to hate review me, I hate is becaues some bloggers asking for $250 to $500 per review, you know what we are not paying for our benefit , they just review it on their blog and thats all…I mean does it benefit the person who pay…
If review me put those reviews up to social site then itwill be worth that sort of payment, but by reviewing on those bloggers blog…its just like a waste of time,,,,
you look at john chow $500 for 1 review on his blog….. you know why google doesn’t rank him any more…..if you go look at his blog at alexa ranking his traffic is going downwards…..

Absolutely! These sites do look for certain things before approving you, traffic being one of them. However this is not all they take into consideration if you check out ReviewMe FAQ’s page you will notice that there is a minimum requirement for traffic, subscribers and citations.

As far as “top marketers” (I’m not sure to whom your referring to) talking down about ReviewMe, the reason for this is probably because unlike PayPerPost, ReviewMe does not require the review to be positive. The person doing the review can give their honest opinion on whatever it is they are reviewing, and still get paid for it.

Imagine paying to have your site reviewed, and getting a negative response.

So if your product or website is not any good, the review will make people aware of that. After all, lying would be misleading to your readers.

ReviewMe also requires some type of disclosure on the review, letting people know it’s a “paid advertisement.”

All of the “upgrades” that ReviewMe have are an upside in my opinion. No one is going to pay for a review on a site that no one or not enough people go to, it’s pretty much a no brain-er.

The above links above are not for website that has low traffic and 0 PR , cos when I started out those site actually doesn’t approve my site at all…I mean those big companies are looking only for potential bloggers…
And 1 last thing is review me…great that site was actually talk down by some top marketers, mmm …not sure wheres the site already…
