Search engine optimization is key to making money online. No business that wants to make money online through a website can achieve any type of success without good SEO strategies.
To make money from a website you want to rank well in the search engines. Getting front page on Google for the keyword “make money online” can be easy if you use the proper techniques.
There are different types of search engine optimization. White hat and black hat are the different types of SEO. White hat being the basic text book way of doing it with proper use of “META” tags , “img alt” tags, “H1″ tags, etc.
What they do is they stuff these tags with keyword rich terms. Search engines LOVE this because this is how they quickly identify what your page is mainly about.
If you didn’t have these the search engine would probably collect minimal information about your site and would give you a really low rank; giving you low traffic and disabling you from making any sort of money online.
Link building is very essential to your PageRank as well. You want backlinks rather then reciprocal links because too many outgoing links is not good, and a site linking to you without you having to link to it looks much better in the search engines eyes.
Link building will boost your traffic and make you money online
Black hat techniques can get you penalized and even banned permanently from all search engines. This is not good at all. If you get banned from all search engines you wont make any money.
Black hat techniques include: cloaking page content, automated link creation, and content creation specifically for SEO ranking.
There are many more techniques, but they’re kept secret by those who use them. If you really want to make money online without being penalized then use white hat techniques and watch the money pour in.
