Getting traffic to your site is key. You can’t make money online if nobody even sees your page right? Well this is a problem a lot of webmasters face when trying to make money online.

Getting traffic can prove to be a task within itself. There are so many ways of approaching it; where do you start? Well for free advertising there are several approaches–one being word of mouth.

Talk to friends and family, but let’s be realistic that doesn’t make you money. You want customers not just visitors.

Well the first place you can go is free classified sites. Go and post an ad for free. Some sites will let the ad run for 30 days, some even 90 days. Search “top ten classified sites” on Google, and post free ads on those sites as much as you can.

Those will you give you a lot of exposure, but for maximum results just keep going to new classified sites and just keep posting ads as often as you can.

Tedious as this can be in the long run it will pay off tremendously if you do this on a daily basis. Most classifieds let you post up to 5 free ads or more.

You sign up to 2 sites a day, posting 5 ads per site, each day in a 30 day month. Now you’ve got 300 ads roaming the Internet all pointing to your site for free. This will make you a lot of money online with out having to spend a dime.

Another great way to get lots of free traffic is forums. You can post on forums and talk about your site, and its service or what product you offer–of course not all forums will let you do this. To find them just type free “your keyword” forum on Google or any search engine.

Become an active member in the forum. Forums are like communities, and they can get you a lot of exposure. Don’t just sign up to one, sign up to 5 and post as often as possible.

The good thing about posting on forums besides the free traffic is you build a high quality one way backlink to your site that’s permanent! The more you post on these forums and the higher the PR (PageRank) of these forums are, the higher you move up in rank in the search engines.

Unlike classified ads that eventually will be taken off, the links pointing to your site on the forums are permanent making you easier to find on the Internet due to the forums high ranking.

Doing both of the above consistently over time will bring thousands of daily visitors, you can make a lot of money online using these techniques

Writing articles is a great craft because you submit them to article sites. What’s so great about articles sites? Well 2 things: they both rank high in PR (PageRank) usually around 6 which is a very good PR.

Secondly, like forums the links are permanent, but better because they’re more valuable since the article site’s PR is so high. Now you’re in the big leagues.

The other 2 over time will just bring you thousands of daily visitors, but doing all three, mainly this one (writing articles), will get you at the top.

You have to be consistent, and in due time your PR will increase dramatically. People can get a high PR doing just these 3 things and in 18 months have a PR of 5 which is very impressive. Making money online won’t be a problem once you reach this stage.

You have to be consistent. Now to really be successful at writing articles, write with proper grammar, follow the guidelines of the article site your submitting to, and write quality content. Don’t write a paragraph about meaningless things.

If you write well then other people will link to you. That’s another quality backlink for you.

Just by submitting to the article site you will have a high quality backlink to your site, but if you write well then you will have backlinks from the article site and hundreds of more sites that copied your article with your link to their site.

This is because when you submit to articles sites you agree to let it be republished as long as your given credit for it, nothing is modified, and your link back to your site is included (as well as submit articles, article in these article sites are republished as content to other people who want them as long as credit is given as stated above).

Do all three of the above tips and in just over a year you can be ranking high for the keyword or niche of your website or blog. Making money online with out having to pay for a dime ever.
