Making Money with Amazon

Hey guys, let me get into the details of why Amazon’s associate program is so great. First off this is basically affiliate marketing, only in this case your an “Amazon Associate.” It works under the same basic principles of affiliate marketing, you sign up, look for a product, pick how you want to display the product i.e widgets, etc then get your code.

If someone clicks on it and makes a purchase you will be paid commission. Sounds like pretty much the same old stuff eh? Well not quite, see Amazon is different they have built a brand for themselves which makes them much more credible, and through Amazon readers get to buy these products at a discount of what they originally cost, not only that but they have the option to buy the product used and pay even less for it. All these contribute to conversion in sales, it is much more likely for consumers to purchase from Amazon as opposed to an unknown website with no reputation or “brand” for itself.

Many factors make Amazon’s associate program great, like the widgets you can use to display your product, I personally think they’re very user friendly and increase sales by a decent amount. My favorite is the new carousel widget they released not too long ago, it come in 2 options, carousel like your classic merry-go-round for all your Amazon products, or Ferris wheel style which ever fits you best. This is my favorite one right here.
